Buttonwood (Conocarpus erectus)

Buttonwood (Conocarpus erectus)
An evergreen shrub or tree growing in mangrove forests of tropical America (South Florida) and western Africa and having alternate leathery leaves and small buttonlike heads of greenish flowers.




Today I repotted the Buttonwood
Purchased from Mary C. Miller in 1993.


























Buttonwood on display at the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum at the United States National Arboretum.
