Protect exposed water pipes....and other objects that can freeze: run the water at a slow steady pace during the hours of sub freezing temperatures.
This cold air mass will remain strong all of next week.

I feel really bad for what/who ever is frozen beneath that ice. Great photo, really captures what your weather is like right now. We are having a cold snap right now too. I'm just glad I can put a sweater on;)
