2011 Atlanta Bonsai Society Exhibit

The
Atlanta Bonsai Society will present its
2011 Annual Bonsai Exhibit at the Atlanta Botanical Garden on Piedmont Ave. in Atlanta Georgia. ABS members get into the Atlanta Botanical Garden free of charge but others will have to pay parking. A parking card can be purchaced in the gift shop. There will only be about 65 bonsai trees this year due to the new location in the entrance area to the garden. The trees will be over 20 different species and range from formal upright to forests, some over 100 years old. There will be lecture/demonstrations each day and vendors will sell bonsai trees, pots, stands, wire, tools and books.

Guest artist will be
Suthin Sukosolvisit. Suthin (Su Tin) Sukosolvisit started being a bonsai artist in 1970. He runs the
Royal Bonsai Garden, a full-service bonsai nursery. Suthin is a famous bonsai artist and has earned numerous awards as such. Moreover, he does lectures throughout the world, and has lectured at various prestigious bonsai conventions in the United States.
