  • Keep Outdoors in a sunny location. 
  • WILL TOLERATE FREEZING, but PROTECT FROM STRONG WINDS & SEVERE COLD. 
  • Spray water daily through the foliage. 
  • Water when the soil moderately dries, but do not let the soil dry out.
  • Fertilize at one-third strength during the growing season. 
  • Finger-pinch the new growth to maintain the size & shape
  • A great plant for beginners.

  1. i got aa nana for christmas we live in a condo with a protected balcony. The pot is 3 by 5. the tree came mailed from mississippishould i leave it outside / I live in chicago zone 5 if i leave ot out should i cover the roots or pot? If so with what?

  2. It gets much colder in Chicago than here. I know that there would be some protection needed when it gets below 25 F. I recommend contacting local clubs for area specific care:
